Taras Baginets studied at the Kharkiv Institute of Arts with prof. Serhiy Yushkevich 
in piano and organ.
In addition he has supplemented his studies in several
master-classes in West Europe including prof. Heinrich Walther (Germany),
prof. Michael Radulesku (Austria), prof. Hans Fagius (Sweden), prof. Zsigmund
Zsatmary (Germany), prof. Ludger Lohmann (Germany).
In 2002 was a winner at the First International Oleg Yantchenko Organ Competition 
in Volgograd (Russia) and got the Special Prize from St.Petersburg Shostakovich
Philharmonic Society.

He has won following prizes:

In 2005 — 1st Prize in Internatonal Organ Competition in St.Petersburg (Russia)
In 2007 — 1st Prize in Russian Open Organ Competition in Kazan’ (Russia)
In 2005 — 2nd Prize in International Mikael Tariverdiev Organ Competition 
In 2008 – 2nd Prize of International Alexander Gedicke Organ Competition (Moscow)
In 2003 — 3rd Prize in International Organ Competition im Hessen (Germany),
He was organist of the Kharkiv Organ Concert Hall of the Kharkiv Philharmonic 
Society (Kharkiv, Ukraine) in 1996-2002.
From 2002 he is organist of the Sverdlovsk
State Philharmonic Society (Ekaterinsburg, Russia).

In 2000 Baginets released the first CD-recording in Ukraine of the Ukrainian organ (“RIEGER-KLOSS” organ, Kharkiv,
organ works by J.S.Bach). In 2005 he released CD-recording of “SAUER” organ Sverdlovsk State Philharmony
(Bach, Bruhns, Bohm, Buxtehude), in 2012 Baginets released CD with music by J.S.Bach
(Choral fantasien from Leipzig autograph).           
He has recorded for TV and radio.Taras Baginets has made several tours throughout 
the whole Ukraine, Russia and also has tours in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Czekhia,
Austria, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia and France.From 2011 is Art-director of annual
Bach-fest in Ekaterinburg, Russia.
